4. The tasks for independent work during the training for the studies
4.1. The list of basic terms, parameters, characteristics, which the student
should master while training for the studies.

Definition
A Latin noun has various terminations to show
whether it is used as the subject or the object of a
verb, whether it indicates the idea of possession, and
so on. The various inflected forms of a noun are
called “cases”.
A list of all the cases of a noun is called the
declension of the noun.
The part in all nouns of any declension left after
removing the inflection of the genitive singular.
4.2. The theoretical questions to the studies:
1. Designate the rules of finding gender, declension and stem of nouns.
2. Designate the rules of writing nouns in the vocabulary.
3. Designate the typical signs of the 1-st declension nouns, give the examples of
nouns in the vocabulary form.
4. Designate the morphological signs of the 1-st group adjectives, the rules of
writing them in the vocabulary.
5. Designate the rules of agreement of adjectives with nouns.
