The adjective agreed with the noun in gender, case
and number.
4.2. The theoretical questions to the studies:
1. Name the rules of pronunciation of vowels and consonants, diphthongs, letter
combinations.
2. Name the rules of stress, long and short syllables.
3. Name the grammatical categories of the noun, the rules of writing nouns in
the vocabulary, the determination of the stem, gender and declension of
nouns.
4. Name the grammatical categories of the adjectives, division into groups,
gender endings, the rule of finding the stem.
5. Name the rules of constructing and the ways of translation of the
constructions “the agreed attribute”, morphological and syntactical structure
of two- and many-word terms with different types of attributes.
6. Name the typical signs of the 1-st and 2-nd declension nouns, the paradigm,
the peculiarities of the nouns – exceptions to the rule of gender.
7. Name the prepositions used with Acc. and Abl., the peculiarities of using the
prepositions in and sub. Give the example.
8. Name the morphological signs of the 1-st group adjectives, the past
participles, the rules of writing them in the vocabulary form.
9. Name the Greek-Latin equivalents of the 1-st and 2-nd declension nouns, the
1-st group adjectives, the word terminations.
4.3. The practical works (tasks) which are done at the studies:
1. Read correctly the words, underline the Greek prefixes and roots, explain
their meaning: hypogastricus, myologia, polyvaccinum, salicylicus, pyrosis,
otomycosis, dystonia, hypertonicus, glycerinum, oxydatus.
