CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF DEXIA SA
Following the second phase of the reorganization of the
Group’s governance initiated on January 1, 2006, which was
approved by the Board of Directors on November 16, 2006
(see page 28), new appointments were made to the Management
Board, effective January 1, 2007. In order to report on
the changes in relation to the situation as of December 31,
2006, the following table shows the situation as of December
31, 2006 and January 1, 2007.
Membership
The Management Board is chaired by the Chief Executive
Officer to whom the Board of Directors has entrusted the daily
management of Dexia. The members of the Management
Board, other than the Chief Executive Officer, are appointed
and dismissed by the Board of Directors on the recommendation
of the Chief Executive Officer and on the advice of the
Management Board. Members are appointed for a term of
four years, which may be renewed.
