The criteria for initiating such contact, any known exclusion zones, the information<br />
each organisation requires, the method of approach and the timeframe for receiving<br />
a response from the assessment by each organisation is tabulated below (excluding<br />
the Department of Defence who have not communicated their requirements).<br />
It is recommended that these organisations are consulted at the beginning of the<br />
Planning Application Stage, however determining whether any known exclusion<br />
zones apply to the development, which organisations are to be contacted, and what<br />
information they require should be done at this stage.<br />
Please note, this information was correct at the time of issue, but these requirements<br />
may change with time.<br />

Information below is from ASA information sheet “Airport-Related<br />
<strong>Development</strong>s”<br />
• Site plans with the exact location of the proposed activity<br />
• Drawings of Tower Line of Sight to movement areas with apron<br />
boundary clearly defined<br />
• Detailed drawings including:<br />
• exact dimensions<br />
• maximum heights in AHD and the above ground height for all<br />
structures including crane operations<br />
• The exact location of the development, including coordinates<br />
and datum for each structure or crane operation, with:<br />
• coordinates in latitude / longitude or easting / northing<br />
• datum as WGS84 or equivalent (not the airport reference<br />
point datum)<br />
• A description of each structure to be built, including details of<br />
proposed external cladding, materials, and the structure’s<br />
proposed use<br />
• Where possible, MicroStation.dgn files (or AutoCAD) that include<br />
3D wireframes of buildings and tower line-of-sight.<br />
