orientation for<br />

back course<br />

ILS installed<br />

MLS switch<br />

Enables the standby ILS indication<br />

to operate in MLS mode. (During the<br />

development of the simulator, there<br />

were, world-wide, no MLS approaches<br />

publicly available; hence, the MLS<br />

switch is currently not applicable.)<br />

Cage knob<br />

Pull Levels the horizon<br />

with the yellow<br />

aircraft symbol.<br />

Knob must be<br />

pulled and held for<br />

some seconds on<br />

the ground after<br />

gyro power-up<br />

(powered by main<br />

battery bus).<br />

ANALYSIS<br />

In the simulator, the gyro RPM of the standby attitude indicator is indicated<br />

on Instructor > Analysis > Miscellaneous. 18000 RPM are required for<br />

normal operations.<br />
