Access:<br />

General:<br />

Shows headers of logged messages.<br />

Arrow up indicates an uplink, arrow down a<br />

downlink message. Shows the initial words<br />

of a message. Line title to the left indicates<br />

the time of the message transmission, and to<br />

the right the message status:<br />

ACCEPTED Pilot has reviewed the<br />

uplink message and has<br />

sent ACCEPT.<br />

NEW<br />

Pilot has not reviewed<br />

the uplink message.<br />

OLD<br />

Pilot has reviewed<br />

the uplink message<br />

and a response is not<br />

required.<br />

OPEN<br />

Pilot (or ATC) has<br />

reviewed the uplink<br />

(or downlink) message<br />

requiring a response,<br />

but has not replied or<br />

has sent STANDBY.<br />

REJECTED Pilot has reviewed the<br />

uplink message and<br />

has responded with a<br />

rejection.<br />

RESPONSE RCVD ATC has received the<br />

downlink message<br />

and has responded<br />

with a rejection or an<br />

instruction.<br />

SENT<br />

ATC has received the<br />

downlink message<br />

and a response is not<br />

(A message is considered “reviewed by the<br />

pilot” when the pilot has selected the page<br />

that shows the content of the message.)<br />

Single messages may be deleted using the<br />

DEL key.<br />

6L <br />

Selects respective message page for review.<br />

6R ERASE LOG> or CONFIRM><br />

When selected, displays CONFIRM>. When<br />

confirmed, erases all logged messages except<br />

for new and open messages.<br />

In the simulator, when saving a situation file, only the last logged message will be saved.<br />
