Power Plant<br />

Electronic Engine Control:<br />

Engine autostart switch (engines 1, 2, 3, 4)<br />

OFF Disables the autostart system on the associated<br />

engine. The fuel control switch must not be set<br />

to RUN before the N2 (or N3) RPM is spooled<br />

up to the fuel-on minimum.<br />

ON Enables the autostart system on the associated<br />

engine. The fuel control switch must be set to<br />

RUN to initiate the autostart program.<br />

EEC switch (engines 1, 2, 3, 4)<br />

NORM Enables the EEC to operate in normal mode.<br />

On PW & RR models, EPR is used as the<br />

controlling parameter.<br />

ALTN Commands the EEC to operate in alternate<br />

mode. N1 is used as the controlling parameter.<br />

EEC operates in alternate mode.<br />

LIGHT<br />

On GE models, autothrottle operation is possible<br />

when all four EECs are in the same mode.<br />

On PW & RR models, autothrottle operation is<br />

possible when all four EECs are in normal mode.<br />
