Provides connection functions and<br />

1L LOGON TO<br />

During connection process, shows entered<br />

ICAO code of ATC center to which logon is<br />

required. When connected, displays dashes<br />

to allow logon to a different ATC center.<br />

Displays boxes when not connected.<br />

Valid entries<br />

4-letter ICAO code of ATC center.<br />

(In the simulator, any 4-letter entry can<br />

establish ATC communication.)<br />

2L FLT NO<br />

Shows flight number. Display is linked with<br />

entry in 2R on first RTE page.<br />

Valid entries<br />

Any entry (1 to 10 characters).<br />

3L TAIL NO<br />

Shows ICAO registration of this aircraft.<br />

4L . When ATC center<br />

has responded, shows either REJECTED or<br />

ACCEPTED for 2 seconds, then blanks.<br />

3R ATC CTR<br />

Shows ICAO code of active ATC center.<br />

4R NEXT CTR<br />

Shows ICAO code of next ATC center<br />

if system is able to determine it (in the<br />

simulator always unable).<br />
