Flight Instruments<br />

Standby Radio Magnetic Indicator (RMI):<br />

• RMI L is optionally installed on the captain’s instrument<br />

panel, RMI R optionally on the first officer’s.<br />

• The heading sources are IRU R for RMI L, and IRU L for<br />

RMI R. For RMI power sources refer to chapter Electrical.<br />

• When no VOR signal is received, the VOR pointer will<br />

park in 3 o’clock position.<br />

• When no NDB signal is received, the ADF pointer will<br />

park in 9 o’clock position.<br />

VOR L/ADF L selector<br />

VOR Assigns the orange<br />

pointer to the left<br />

VOR.<br />

ADF Assigns the orange<br />

pointer to the left<br />

ADF.<br />

A pink pointer may<br />

be installed instead<br />

of the orange one.<br />

VOR R/ADF R selector<br />

VOR Assigns the green<br />

pointer to the<br />

right VOR.<br />

ADF Assigns the green<br />

pointer to the<br />

right ADF.<br />

VOR/ADF flag<br />

An orange flag appears<br />

when the data from the<br />

respective receiver is<br />

invalid.<br />

HDG flag<br />

An orange HDG flag<br />

appears when the<br />

heading data from<br />

the respective IRU is<br />

invalid.<br />
