General:<br />

Displays data from navigation database<br />

and active route, and allows the crew to<br />

inhibit specific navigation radios. All<br />

inhibits are reset at flight completion.<br />

1L IDENT<br />

When the page is opened, initially displays<br />

dashes. When a valid identifier is entered,<br />

the upper half of the page will display<br />

waypoint type specific data.<br />

Valid entries<br />

Identifier of any waypoint, navaid,<br />

airport, or destination runway in the<br />

database or in the active route.<br />

4L 4R NAVAID INHIBIT<br />

Allows entry of up to two VOR, DME,<br />

VORDME, or VORTAC identifiers. Entered<br />

stations will not be autotuned by FMC and<br />

will not be used for radio updating.<br />

Valid entries<br />

Identifier (1 to 3 letters).<br />

5L 5R VOR ONLY INHIBIT<br />

Allows entry of up to two VOR, VORDME,<br />

or VORTAC identifiers. For radio updating,<br />

the FMC will not use the VOR part of the<br />

entered stations but only the DME part.<br />

Valid entries<br />

Identifier (1 to 3 letters).<br />

6L <br />

When selected, 5L and 5R indicate<br />

ALL, and FMC will not use VOR/DME<br />

combinations for radio updating. DME/<br />

DME combinations remain enabled. Also,<br />

when 6R is selected, key reads ENABLE>,<br />

allowing the crew to clear the inhibit.<br />
