Access: NAV RAD key<br />

General: Provides tuning and monitoring<br />

functions for all navigation radios installed<br />

on the aircraft.<br />

1L VOR L 1R VOR R<br />

When a frequency is entered, the FMC<br />

adds the next suitable database identifier;<br />

when an identifier is entered, the FMC adds<br />

the next suitable database frequency. Also<br />

shows the tuning status:<br />

M Manual tuning — The crew has selected<br />

this station. Deletion cancels this mode.<br />

A Autotuning — The FMC has selected this<br />

station because its location relative to<br />

the aircraft is ideal for the FMC’s aircraft<br />

position calculation.<br />

R Route tuning — The FMC has selected<br />

this station because it is a required<br />

enroute station on the active route.<br />

P Procedure tuning — The FMC has<br />

selected this station because it is a<br />

required station in the current SID,<br />

STAR, or approach.<br />
