Students in the Telecommunication Track may, with the approval of the graduate programadvisor, select an internship in the media industry, but must also successfully write the comprehensive examination.CURRICULUM SUMMARYMaster of Arts in CommunicationsThe Department of Communications offers two programs leading to the Masters degree:1. Plan A – Master of Arts degree – a minimum of thirty (30) s<strong>em</strong>ester credithours of coursework, including thesis.2. Plan B – Master of Arts degree – a minimum of thirty-three (33) s<strong>em</strong>ester credit hours. With the approval of thegraduate student advisor, students in the Telecommunications Track have the option of choosing an internshipto satisfy six (6) of the thirty-three (33) s<strong>em</strong>ester hour requir<strong>em</strong>ent.73
