The <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT Stand-Alone Server (or Responder) can be invoked from a TSO/E command line (interactivelyor in batch), as:NUASSERV [-keyword value]Where:NUASSERV-keyword value-BLOCKsize-HOMEdir-OUTput-PASSword-PREfix-ROOTdir-SEArch-SERvice-TIMEOUTis the program name of the <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT Stand-Alone Server.(optional) specifies optional command line keywords that may be given to affect theoperation of the <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT session. The following are valid keywords:specifies an alternative default <strong>NetEx</strong> blocksize value in which to offer. The defaultis 16384. The USER_BLOCKSIZE environment variable can also be used to set thisvalue.specifies the name of the user’s “login” or “home” directory when <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT is invoked.Changing this keyword’s value redefines the location <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT uses to locateuser startup files. The USER_HOME environment variable can also be used toset this value.specifies the name of an output file that is to receive the server output from this session.The default is the terminal or the batch log file. The USER_OUTPUT environmentvariable can also be used to set this value.specifies an optional password that will be checked (by the server) after a connectionis established to this server. A connecting initiator must pass a password matching inlength and exact character case. The USER_PASSWORD environment variable canalso be used to set this value.an alternative server prefix string that precedes all server displays. The default is“Server: ”.specifies the name of the installed <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT root directory containing site specificserver help and startup files. There is generally no reason to modify this keyword.The USER_ROOT environment variable can also be used to set this value.specifies the search path <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT follows to locate server startup files following asuccessful connection. This value is only used if the CONNECT SEARCH pathfrom the initiator is empty. The default is “(SITE) (USER)”. The USER_SEARCHenvironment variable can also be used to set this value.specifies a service name to offer. The default is “EFT”. The USER_SERVICE environmentvariable can also be used to set this value.It is recommended that the service name you choose for a Standalone Server notmatch the service name chosen for the Multiplex Server or other Standalone Servers.If any service names are the same, a remote user may be connected to any server offeringthe same name, causing confusing results.specifies a value in seconds for which the standalone server will offer the service.The standalone server exits with a nonzero condition code after the specified timeexpires.
