RENAME Alias CommandDescriptionThe RENAME alias command issues the RENAME system command on the remote host computer to whichthere is an active connection. The file specified by “file1” is renamed to “file2”.FormatCommand Qualifiers ParametersRENAMEfile1 file2Where:RENAMEfile1file2(required) the verb for this command.
