TEXT CommandDescriptionCommand TEXT writes a string of text to the user’s terminal and/or output file. TEXT is usually used withinNetEx/eFT input scripts or aliases for interaction with a user. The string parameter may contain string substitutionsyntax.FormatCommand Qualifier ParameterTEXtWhere:TEXt (required) the verb for this command. The minimum spelling is TEX.[string]string (optional) a string of text to be written out to the terminal or output file. The string may contain stringsubstitution syntax such as string functions and references to variables.ExamplesTo display a simple line of text on the screen:eFT> text this is a line of text to echoeFT: this is a line of text to echoYou can use TEXT with a string containing string substitution syntax.
