DIR Alias CommandDescriptionThe DIR alias command issues DIRECTORY as a system command on the remote host computer to whichthere is an active connection. The contents of the directory specified by the command are displayed.FormatCommand Qualifiers ParametersDIR[directory]Where:DIRdirectory(required) the verb for this command. The minimum spelling is DIR.(optional) the name of the directory to display.
