To display what it thinks is the current date, you would type:eFT> remote dateThe results would be whatever the current date is on the remote host.REMOTE Command StatusThe completion status of the REMOTE TSO/E command is placed in the NetEx/eFT variable {status:remote}.The possible values are:0 Normal (successful) completion.nInteger value for unsuccessful completion.
