Some CONNECT qualifiers ofspecial importance to IBM z/OS are:-ACCount-PROFilePassed to an IBM z/OS host as the TSO/E logon parameter ACCT(xxx). The string valuepassed to ACCOUNT should be only the ‘xxx’ parameter within the parenthesis.Passed to an IBM z/OS host as the TSO/E logon parameter PROC(xxx). The string valuepassed to PROFILE should be only the ‘xxx’ parameter within the parenthesis.The following CONNECT qualifiers are normally ignored by IBM z/OS <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT at connect/login time:APPlicationCOMmandPROJectSCRIptSECondarySITENote: Your site may have customized IBM z/OS <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT to use one or more of these additional qualifiers.The CONNECT command as described in “Command Descriptions” of the local <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT guide lists allapplicable CONNECT qualifiers.Remote IBM z/OS <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT Startup FilesAfter establishing a successful connection into a remote z/OS host, <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT executes the startup files asdescribed by the CONNECT SEARCH qualifier on the Initiator. The normal default definition of this qualifieris:eFT> show connect searcheFT: SEArch ............ (SITE) (USER)Possible values for CONNECT SEARCH are the keywords (NONE), (SITE), (USER), or any valid remotefile specification containing <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT commands. The definitions for the special keywords as they relate to<strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT for IBM z/OS are given below.(NONE)(SITE)(USER)do not process any responder (or server) startup files.implies a <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT site startup file (partitioned data set member) called SSERVER locatedin the remote IBM z/OS site partitioned data set. This is explained in more detail in “IBMz/OS <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT SEARCH Keywords (SITE), (USER), and (NONE)” on page 104.implies a <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT user-level startup file (sequential dataset) called SERVER.UA that islocated in the user’s login TSO/E prefix. This is explained in more detail in “IBM z/OS<strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT SEARCH Keywords (SITE), (USER), and (NONE)” on page 104.No server startup files are required. If any do exist, <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT sends their contents (a sequence of <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFTcommands) back to the local Initiator where they are then executed in the order described by the SEARCHqualifier.
