This qualifier isthe same as the MVS JCL “LABEL=” keyword “RETPD=” operandand may also be used for DASD data sets. This qualifier is mutuallyexclusive with the “-EXPIRation” qualifier.The minimum spelling is –RETEN.This qualifier indicates whether or not the Resilient Network Transferoption is enabled for this file transfer. This option provides the abilityfor the sender to resume a file transfer operation from the point of interruption.If RNT is enabled, the network connection between a<strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT client/server pair is reestablished following a network outageand the file transfer operation is resumed. This value should be setto either ON or OFF.The default is OFF.This qualifier specifies the size of the RNT buffer. This parameterindicates the number of bytes retained by the sending host, in order toreestablish a network connection and restart a file transfer from thepoint of interruption. The accepted range of values is 1 to 1,048,576bytes.The default is 262144 bytes. The minimum spelling is –RNT_BUF.This qualifier specifies the number of seconds between attempts to reestablishthe <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT session during RNT processing. The acceptedrange of values is 1 to 600 seconds.The default is 60 seconds. The minimum spelling is –RNT_INTThis qualifier specifies the number of seconds to wait before abandoningattempts to re-establish the <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT session during RNT processing.The accepted range of values is 1 to 32767 seconds.The default is 1200 seconds.
