DISCONNECT CommandDescriptionTerminate the connection from the current remote host which was previously connected with CONNECT.Following a DISCONNECT, you will not have any “active” remote connections even though you may still beconnected to other hosts. Use the SHOW HOST command to display all of your remote connections. TheSET HOST command can be used to make an idle connection active again.An implied disconnect of all connections takes place following an EXIT or QUIT command from a<strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT session.FormatCommand Qualifier ParameterDISconnect [-QUIet | ON | ]| OFF |Where:DISconnect-QUIet(required) the verb for this command. The minimum spelling is DIS.(optional) tells <strong>NetEx</strong>/eFT whether or not to confirm the disconnect with a message. Thisvalue should be set to either ON or OFF. The default is OFF. The minimum spelling is-QUI.ExamplesAssume connections have already been made to the hosts VX1 and IBM. This results in the following outputfrom SHOW HOST:eFT> show hosteFT: (1) Host=VX1 User=scotteFT: active --> (2) Host=IBM User=meyersA DISCONNECT at this point terminates the current “active” connection (host IBM) as seen below:eFT> disconnecteFT: Disconnected from host IBM.eFT> show hosteFT: (1) Host=VX1 User=scottThe connection to IBM has been terminated and only the connection to host vx1 remains (still idle).
