Schedule 1 The <strong>Criminal</strong> <strong>Code</strong>Part 2 Offences against public orderChapter 7 Sedition[s 46](c)(d)in the administration of justice, with a view to thereformation of such errors or defects; orto excite in good faith Her Majesty’s subjects to attemptto procure by lawful means the alteration of any matterin the State as by law established; orto point out in good faith in order to their removal anymatters which are producing or have a tendency toproduce feelings of ill will and enmity between differentclasses of Her Majesty’s subjects.46 Definition of seditious enterprises etc.(1) A seditious enterprise is an enterprise which is undertaken inorder to the carrying out of a seditious intention.(2) Seditious words are words expressive of a seditious intention.(3) In this <strong>Code</strong>—seditious writing includes anything intended to be read, andany sign or visible representation, which is expressive of aseditious intention.51 Unlawful drilling(1) Any person who—(a) in contravention of the directions under a regulation,trains or drills any other person to the use of arms or thepractice of military exercises, movements, or evolutions;or(b) is present at any meeting or assembly of persons held incontravention of the directions of any suchproclamation, for the purpose of there training ordrilling any other person to the use of arms or thepractice of military exercises, movements, or evolutions;is guilty of a crime, and is liable to imprisonment for 7 years.Page 60 Current as at 1 December 2014
