The numbermust match the corresponding number on the MCSCR report. If the number on the monthlyreport is incorrect, follow the MCSCR correction procedures.I.C. Total number <strong>of</strong> discharges during FY : Indicate the number <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fenders (felons andmisdemeanants) who were discharged from the program or facility during the fiscal year. Thenumber must match the corresponding number on the MCSCR report. If the number on themonthly report is incorrect, follow the MCSCR correction procedures.I.D. Discharges during FY due to: Indicate the number <strong>of</strong> each discharge type thatoccurred in the program or facility during the fiscal year. The six categories should sum to thenumber reported in item I.C.1) Completion <strong>of</strong> program or term: Indicate the number <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fenders (felons andmisdemeanants) who were discharged after the completion <strong>of</strong> all program components,the completion <strong>of</strong> the specified term <strong>of</strong> participation, or the expiration <strong>of</strong> the communitysupervision period.2) Revocation: Indicate the number <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fenders (felons and misdemeanants) who wereremoved from the program or facility because <strong>of</strong> supervision violations. Do not count<strong>of</strong>fenders who were revoked due to program violations; instead, count those <strong>of</strong>fendersunder “Program Violations”.3) Inappropriate placement/Unable to participate: Indicate the number <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fenders(felons and misdemeanants) who were removed from the program or facility because theywere an inappropriate placement (e.g., assaultive <strong>of</strong>fense, medical reasons, mentallyunable to participate, not chemically dependent).4) Unknown: Indicate the number <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fenders (felons and misdemeanants) who wereremoved from the program or facility for a reason that does not fit the definition <strong>of</strong> any <strong>of</strong>the other categories or where the reason for discharge is unknown. This category shouldonly be used as a last option.5) Program Violations: Indicate the number <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fenders (felons and misdemeanants)who were removed from the program or facility because <strong>of</strong> program violations (e.g.,failing to participate, fighting, using drugs). Also include <strong>of</strong>fenders who were revokedfrom supervision due to a program violation.6) Absconded: Indicate the number <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fenders (felons and misdemeanants) whoabsconded and were discharged from the program or facility.7) Death: Indicate the number <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fenders (felons and misdemeanants) who died whilein the program.8) Transfer/Facility Closure (For Residential programs only): Indicate the number <strong>of</strong>residents who were discharged from the facility because they were transferred or thefacility closed.- 57 ­
