Defining the DPNSS 1 SubroutinesDialed Number Identification ServiceThe Dialed Number Identification Service (DNIS), known in DPNSS 1as the Destination Address (DA), identifies the dialed number to therecipient PBX. The Destination Address has no identifier code. It doesnot begin with the star (*) symbol <strong>and</strong> is not terminated by the pound (#)symbol as other identifier codes are.
