EU4 OverviewEuro-ISDN ConfigurationEuro-ISDN is the name that is usually used to refer to the version ofISDN running on an E1 interface and defined by standards ETS 300403-1, ITU-T Q.931, and Q.932. Euro-ISDN is used around the world,and is the most common version of primary rate ISDN interface runningon an E1 interface.Table 7-1 lists the filenames, directories, and descriptions of themodules defining the Euro-ISDN protocol.Table 7-1. Euro-ISDN ConfigurationDefining intvconf.datThe intvconf.dat file is the main configuration file in an Intervoicesystem. It contains a variety of parameters: some are standard for allconfigurations; others must be changed to match the particular systemconfiguration.A sample configuration file, intvconf.org, is located in the intv/cfgdirectory.To define the intvconf.org file as intvconf.dat, follow these steps:For more information onconfiguring intvconf.dat.see the StandardConfiguration File Guide(PCI).1 In a text editor, open the intvconf.org file located in the intv/cfgdirectory.2 Make changes and save the file as intvconf.dat.3 Exit the text editor..dat ExtensionVerify that the file is saved with the .dat extension. Sometext editors automatically attach a .txt extension, so thename of the saved file becomes intvconf.dat.txt.
