Service Indicator CodeThe Service Indicator Code (SIC) indicates the type of call beingrequested, including speech and data. In an Omvia Media Server,common functionality includes a 10-hexadecimal SIC code to indicatespeech that is companded (converted from analog to digital) in 64K µLaw. Defining the DPNSS 1 SubroutinesISDN_DPNS_SET_SICUse the ISDN_DPNS_SET_SIC subroutine to set the SIC in the ISRMmessage.Valid codes are determined by a combination of bits in several fields andcannot be described accurately in this document. The normal SIC codefor speech applications is 10 hexadecimal.
