Call DiversionFor more informationabout SupplementaryInformation String (SIS)identifiers in DPNSS 1,refer to Table 6-3 onpage 6-10.In call diversion, the Omvia Media Server makes a request to the PBXto take back the call <strong>and</strong> then divert it to another number. Call diversionacts as a single line transfer, <strong>and</strong> the call can be automaticallyreconnected if the diversion fails. The “Original Called Number” is anoptional parameter that can be used.Call diversion occurs when two end-to-end messages (EEM) are sentfrom the Omvia Media Server to the switch. The first message containsa State of Destination Free (SOD-F) SIS identifier <strong>and</strong> a RedirectionControl (RDC) SIS identifier with no parameters.The first message instructs the PBX to grab the call <strong>and</strong> classify theOmvia Media Server as idle. The second message contains a Divert onNo Reply (DVT-R) SIS identifier <strong>and</strong> its accompanying Addressparameter.
