National ISDN-2 ConfigurationOptional EntriesThe following intvconf.dat configuration entries are optional, and addextra functionality to the basic configuration:[NI2_LinkID_Each_Call]Gives each span in a switch a unique identification number.The Link ID is used during a Two B-Channel Call Transfer (TBCT)to identify each end of the call during the transfer.The [NI2_LinkID_Each_Call] entry can be configured in theswitch so that the transfer will occur with or without the Link ID.There are no parameters for this entry.A correctly configured default entry appears below:[NI2_LinkID_Each_Call][ISDN_NI2_Called_Party_Numbering_Plan]Identifies the number of the called party. This entry includes theNumbering Plan ID, also called the number type (see Table 12-2 onpage 12-6). The default Numbering Plan ID is A1 (National NumberType, ISDN/Telephony Numbering).Adding the entry allows users to modify the Numbering Plan ID.The entry can include one optional parameter, the OverrideNumbering Plan ID. If the[ISDN_NI2_Called_Party_Numbering_Plan]entry is added tointvconf.dat with no parameters, the default Numbering PlanIdentification is 81 (Unknown Type, ISDN/Telephony NumberingPlan).An example of the entry with one parameter is shown below:[ISDN_NI2_Called_Party_Numbering_Plan]B1 ; Network Specific Number Type, ISDN/TelephonyNumberingTable 12-2 on page 12-6 displays the valid number types in thesystem.60001262, First Edition National ISDN-2 Protocol 12-5
