Normally, anOrigination information element is included in the setup message.This information element is defined by Nortel using Codeset 6.The Origination information element (IE) has a 0x01h identifier andcontains one octet. The [INFO_DIGITS] entry has a variable numberof elements (from 1 to 8) representing each span in the system. Eachelement can be one of two values:• 1 – Causes the Origination information element to be replacedwith a Generic Digits information element which is also incodeset 6.
