It means that the ISDN provideris not ready to establish the link. Contact the ISDNprovider, and ensure that the span is enabled fortraffic.Make sure the span is in sync. If it is in sync and isalso T1, check with the ISDN provider for theappropriate signal types (AMI/B8ZS andNon/Inverted).Find out from the ISDN provider whether theirservice is DTE or DCE. The Omvia Media Serverdefault is DTE. If this must be changed to DCE,refer to “Configuring D Channel for DTE and DCE”on page 14-34The channel service unit (CSU) between the OmviaMedia Server and the ISDN network could be theproblem. The easiest way to isolate the CSU is toconnect the Omvia Media Server directly to thenetwork and completely bypass the CSU for testing.Configure the Omvia Media Server as a straight T1or E1 to test the Intervoice system hardware.
