Defining the DPNSS 1 SubroutinesISDN_DPNS_INIT_XFER_REQUESTUse the ISDN_DPNS_INIT_XFER_REQUEST subroutine to send twoend-to-end (EEM) messages to the PBX.One message is sent to the inbound line and one message is sent to theoutbound line. Both EEM messages contain the SIS identifiers ofreconnected and transferred calls. For more information onSupplementaryInformation Stringidentifiers, refer toTable 6-3 on page 6-10.The transferred identifier also contains a parameter of Call Direction. The Call Direction parameter assigns the call so that subsequentsupplementary services have a reference point. The two reference points for the messages are:• O – (originating PBX)• T – (terminating PBX)If a Route Optimization–Request (ROP-R) is received in an EEMmessage, the Omvia Media Server responds with another EEM messagecontaining an ROP-R. The exchange of messages causes the PBXhandling the calls to optimize the paths of the two calls following thetransfer.A sample UserSubroutineCall form that callsISDN_DPNS_INIT_XFER_REQUEST is shown below:60001262, First Edition DPNSS 1 Protocol 6-53
