ISDN Console OverviewISDN Console is part of InterSoft runtime. The consoles are used toconfigure ISDN spans and channels, and enable logs for errordiagnostics.Intervoice supports three different versions of the ISDN Console:• ISDN_CON• QSIG_CON• DPNS_CONMinor differences exist between the types of consoles. Using ISDN ConsoleUsing ISDN ConsoleISDN Console is an executable file that can be found in the intv\sysdirectory of the Omvia Media Server. Depending on the type of ISDNyour system is running, look for the corresponding executable file:• ISDN_CON – Basic ISDN• QSIG_CON – QSIG ISDN• DPNS_CON – DPNSS 1 ISDNThe ISDN Console commands are shown in Table 14-1 below:Table 14-1. ISDN Console CommandsCommandF1 – Next SpanF2 – Save/ActF3 – Previous SpanF4 – Message MenuF5 – Hot updateF6 – ExitActionScrolls to next span.(In the B Channel Access area, scrolls to thenext B Channel)Saves and accepts the current data.Scrolls back one level to the previous span.Repeatedly pressing F3 backs up successivelyfurther levels.Opens the Message Menu screen.Only valid in the B Channel Access area.Completes a quick hot fix to the data.Backs up one menu. Does not completely exitthe system unless it pressed at the GeneralMenu screen, where it re-enters the commandprompt area.To use the ISDN Console:1 From the desktop, open a command prompt.2 At the prompt, enter the type of ISDN console you wish to open:• ISDN_CON• QSIG_CON• DPNS_CON3 Press .4 At the next screen, press to continue.60001262, First Edition ISDN Console 14-3
