Using <strong>ISDN</strong> ConsoleN200 (retransmissions)Indicates the number of times that a SABME is retransmitted tryingto restart the Data Link Layer. The range is 3 to 30.Frame Level AddressConfigures the end of the span as either Data Terminal Equipment(DTE) or Data Circuit Terminating Equipment (DCE). In a normalenvironment, the DTE represents equipment that is generallyconsidered Terminal Equipment. DCE configuration normallyrepresents the Network side of the connection. 0 =DTE, 1=DCE.Frame Window (k)Indicates the maximum number of outst<strong>and</strong>ing frames (windowsize). The range is 1 to 127.Packet Size (N201)Indicates the maximum number of octets in an information field. Foran SAP supporting signaling, the default is 260 octets.Level 3 Timers T302Starts upon the sending of a Setup Acknowledge message duringOverlap Receiving. Any DNIS digits received restart this timer. Thereceipt of DNIS digits that are marked as Sending Complete stopthis timer <strong>and</strong> cause a Call Proceeding message to be sent. This timeris restarted for a second time if it expires before all DNIS digits arereceived. There is no action taken upon the second expiration of thistimer. The range is 1 to 600 seconds.T301Starts upon receipt of an Alerting message. This timer is stoppedupon receipt of a Connect message. If this timer expires, aDisconnect message is sent <strong>and</strong> the call is cleared. This is aswitch-specific timing parameter, which is defined in L3INIT, <strong>and</strong>cannot be adjusted by the user. The valid values include:• EU4=180• DMS=120• QSG=180T302Starts upon sending a Setup Acknowledge message during Overlapreceiving. This timer is stopped upon receiving the complete CalledParty information through one or more Information messages.
