Clinical Child and Family Psychology Review, 6(3), 189-204.<strong>This</strong> paper reviewed interventions aimed at reducing the negative outcomes in children exposed to interparentalviolence. The paper provides an overview of the development of interventions from the 1980s and reviews three morerecent randomised intervention studies, with a treatment as usual or waiting list controls, in more detail. All three studies,which assessed well planned, intensive interventions that included parenting support for mothers, <strong>report</strong>ed positiveoutcomes for mothers and children.
