Expenditure-based Measure of GDPThe expenditure-based measure of GDP, released concurrently with the production-basedmeasure, increased by 0.3% in the June quarter of 2012. During this period, householdconsumption expenditure increased by 0.2%, while export volumes were down 1.2% andimports were down 2.9%. On an <strong>annual</strong> basis, expenditure on GDP for the year endingJune 2012 increased by 1.7%, when compared to the year ending June 2011 [4].Figure 1.
