The recommended pool network is set out in Figure 8.77. The current available water space (excluding Waterworld) is 17.5 sq m per 1000population but with the proposed changes, this will decrease the water space(again excluding Waterworld) to a total of 15.5 sq m by 2021. However if thepools at Blurton High School and Holden Lane High School are excludedbecause they will have limited community use, this would bring down theprovision to 13.7 sq m per 1000 population.
