Long-term goal 1.7.4 To maintain close coordination in the management of<br />

the territories of <strong>Rila</strong> <strong>Monastery</strong> <strong>Nature</strong> <strong>Park</strong> and of <strong>Rila</strong> National <strong>Park</strong>, as an<br />

inseparable nature complex.<br />

This Goal aims to ensure that activities carried out in <strong>Rila</strong> <strong>Monastery</strong> <strong>Nature</strong> <strong>Park</strong> are<br />

coordinated with the <strong>Rila</strong> National <strong>Park</strong> (and vice-versa) to ensure maximum benefit<br />

to both areas. This includes the close coordination of activities relates to fire<br />

management and control, the maintenance of ecological corridors for the passage and<br />

movement of large mammals in <strong>part</strong>icular, visitor management and safety, and law<br />

enforcement, among others.<br />
