Preserve the natural condition and the biological<br />

and mushroom populations in the <strong>Park</strong><br />

• Implement a fish resource restoration and<br />

maintenance system in the <strong>Park</strong>.<br />

• Conduct periodical medicinal plant and forest fruit<br />

reserve evaluations and plan the annual quantities<br />

allowed for use;<br />

• Elaborate picking instructions for <strong>part</strong>icular<br />

species and introduce a system for their<br />

enforcement;<br />

• Enforce a special mushroom resource protection<br />

regime in the <strong>Park</strong> with stricter requirements for<br />

their use;<br />

Guarantee only those forms of tourism that do not<br />

compromise the preservation of the spiritual<br />

significance of the <strong>Rila</strong> <strong>Monastery</strong> and other holy<br />

places as well as the cultural and historical heritage<br />

and landscapes in the <strong>Park</strong>.<br />

• Develop and implement a uniform tourism<br />

development strategy and program in the park<br />

(types, forms, ratio, distribution of areas etc.);<br />

• Annual or periodic evaluation of<br />

resources is conducted and locations<br />

and quantities for use are determined.<br />

• The fish resources in the <strong>Park</strong> are<br />

increased.<br />

• An instruction on the species allowed<br />

for gathering in the <strong>Park</strong> and their<br />

locations and manner of picking is<br />

created and enforced. It is promoted<br />

among the local people and is enforced.<br />

• The public is informed periodically<br />

about the implemented non timber<br />

and their results.<br />

• A tourism development strategy is<br />

developed and implemented in the <strong>Park</strong>.<br />
