You haveundoubtedly been led, by the comparison of the churcheswith the history thus thx, to admire the agreement of theprophecy of the four churches with the history of thetimes; and truly this is one ofthe greatest evidences wehave ofthe truth of the divine inspiration of revelation,and this evidence fixes the authenticity ofthe Scripturesbeyond a ,reasonable doubt.
