cmcuus Ammzss. 65The reign of grace continues until Christeaves the mediatorial throne; then thejudgment begins, first at the household offaith; the wicked and the proud are gatheredand burned, and their bodies are madeashes under the feet of Christ and the saints;Malachi iv. 3: "And ye shall tread downthe wicked; for they shall be ashes underthe soles of your feet in the day that I shalldo this, saith the Lord of hosts;" the righteousare raised and caught up to meet theLord in the air, unto eternal life; they arethere judged and justified, before God andthe holy angels, and, through righteousness,they are now presented to God the Fatherwithout spotor wrinkle,orany such thing.Thus grace has finished the work; the capstone, Jesus Christ, is brought in with shoutingand grace unto it. The Lord JesusChrist takes his place as the cap or top stoneof the building, which is now become a holybuilding, compact in every part,-a housenot made with hands, but without hands,eternal in the heavens, "unto eternal life."Then will the Father give up the glorifiedkingdom to the Son of man, and the LordJesus Christ become King on the holy hill ofZion, and "God blessed forrevermore." Heis our God; we have waited for him, and hewill save us.This is the kingdom for which we the will of Gogray-willand when this is set up,"be done in earth as in heaven."6*
