'62 cmcunn Annnsss.ot; (vii.14.3"And there was given him dominion,an glory, and a kingdom, that allpeople, nations, and languages, should servehim: his dominion is aneverlasting dominion,which shall not pass away,and hiskingdom that which shall not be destroyed."If it is this kingdom, it is an everlasting one,it is an universal one,-" all people, nationsand languages, should serve him." It is"under the whole heaven." It shallnotpass away. Then it must be in the newheavens and the new earth; for these heavensand earth will pass away. It must beafter the great burning day; for Peter showsplainly that then the heavens shall passaway, the earth and the works therein shallbe burned up. 2 Peter iii. 10: "But theof the Lord will come as a thief in thedaynight; in which the heavens shall pass awaywith agreat noise, and the elements shallmelt with fervent heat; the earth also, andthe works that are therein, shall be burnedup."We see, by these passages, that the kingdomfor which wepray cannot be the kingdomwith " tares," &,c., or the wicked, in it;for "thy will" is to .be done in it as inheaven. It cannot be the kingdom beforeChrist puts all enemies under his feet, for alldominions are to serve and obey him. Itto the Fa-cannot be the kingdom given upther; for it is given to the Son of man.
