It seems to beforgotten that postmodernism has its roots in modernism and there is anoticeable void in this type of criticism when analysing the double anddoubling in Jaramillo Levi’s work.National and international critics consider Jaramillo Levi todayas one of the most significant storytellers living in Central America. Heis and has been one of the most tireless promoters of the arts thatPanama has ever seen.
