Committee Membership & Terms <strong>of</strong> Reference<br />

Brief description <strong>of</strong> the paper, including a statement <strong>of</strong> relevance to the <strong>University</strong>'s strategic<br />

plans <strong>and</strong> priorities<br />

The paper proposes changes to the committee membership. These support the <strong>University</strong>’s<br />

strategic goal <strong>of</strong> excellence in learning <strong>and</strong> teaching.<br />

The paper also proposes changes to the committee’s terms <strong>of</strong> reference. A st<strong>and</strong>ing subcommittee<br />

is proposed in relation to the revised method <strong>of</strong> student support service reviews.<br />

This is relevant to the <strong>University</strong>’s strategic enabler <strong>of</strong> quality services. Amendments to the<br />

committee’s remit are proposed to derive maximum institutional benefit from quality<br />

systems. This is relevant to the <strong>University</strong>’s strategic goal <strong>of</strong> excellence in learning <strong>and</strong><br />

teaching.<br />
