Brief description of the paper, including a statement of relevance to the University's strategic
plans and priorities
The paper proposes changes to the committee membership. These support the University’s
strategic goal of excellence in learning and teaching.
The paper also proposes changes to the committee’s terms of reference. A standing subcommittee
is proposed in relation to the revised method of student support service reviews.
This is relevant to the University’s strategic enabler of quality services. Amendments to the
committee’s remit are proposed to derive maximum institutional benefit from quality
systems. This is relevant to the University’s strategic goal of excellence in learning and
teaching.
