SCOTT MELLANBY
Scott Mellanby a été nommé au poste de directeur du personnel des joueurs le 28 mai 2012. Montréalais d’origine, il a

entraîneur adjoint avec St. Louis avec qui il passa deux saisons derrière le banc. Mellanby s’est joint aux Thrashers en
juillet 2004 et était capitaine de l’équipe à la seule participation des Thrashers en séries. Auparavant, il avait passé
deux saisons avec St. Louis entre 2001 et 2004. À chacune de ses quatre saisons à St. Louis, les Blues ont pris part aux
éliminatoires, atteignant la finale de l’ouest en 2001. Mellanby a passé sept saisons avec la Floride, étant capitaine de

Âgé de 46 ans, Scott Mellanby a joué son hockey junior près de Toronto, avant de se joindre aux Badgers de
l’Université du Wisconsin (WCHA) en 1984-1985. Il a aussi joué pour le Canada, méritant l’argent au Championnat du
monde junior en 1986, enfilant cinq buts et quatre aides en sept matchs..

worked as an assistant coach for two seasons. As a player, he was signed as UFA by the Thrashers in July 2004, Mellanby
played two seasons in Atlanta and was the team captain the only time the Thrashers earned a playoff berth. He also played
with St. Louis from 2001 to 2004 after being acquired from Florida. He reached the playoffs in each of his four seasons in
St. Louis, making it to the Western Conference Final in 2001. Mellanby spent seven seasons with the Panthers, including his
last four as team captain, recording 157 goals and a total of 354 points. In 1996, he led his team to the Cup Final against
Colorado. He also played in Edmonton from 1991 to 1993 suiting up for 149 games and recording 82 points. Mellanby
accomplished a rare feat by playing in the Cup or conference finals with four different franchises, including a decisive game
7 with the Flyers versus the Cup winning Oilers. Drafted in the second round, 27 th overall, by Philly in 1984, he made the team
in 1986 and spent five seasons in Philadelphia, registering 227 points in 353 games while serving 694 penalty minutes.
Scott Mellanby, 46, played junior hockey in the Toronto area before moving on to the Wisconsin University Badgers
(WCHA) in 1984-1985. He helped Canada to win a silver medal at the 1986 WJHC, notching nine points (five goals,
four assists) in seven games..
