Elza<br />

In appeal of Elza Atijas, number 2.384/42 as of February 17th 1942, sent to the Velika<br />

Župa Sana and Luka, was stated: As my husband David Atijas is for 8 months in the<br />

concentration camp, I am alone with small child with no income for living, I live in a poor<br />

conditions, and being of very poor health and unable for physical work ... I kindly ask you if it<br />

is possible to allocate me some aid. 384<br />

Tilda–Hilda, maiden Levi (Banjaluka, 1908 – the concentration camp Jasenovac, 1942)<br />

- Tailor, in 1942 had permanent residence in <strong>Dr</strong> Gutića 49 St. 385<br />

In the Report on deprivation of the life or missing person, submitted in Banja Luka on<br />

September 19th 1945 by Moric Levi, book binder from Banja Luka is stated, (column A) that<br />

Tilda Atijas, daughter of <strong>Jakov</strong> Levi, 23 years old, residence in Banja Luka, Jewish, during<br />

German occupation was killed as civil person in 1942 in the concentration camp Jasenovac by<br />

Ustashe. The amount she would earn as of 1941–1945, according to the Submitter of Request<br />

and Municipal Commission is 888.000 dinars. 386<br />

Albert, alias Albi (Banjaluka, 1933 – the Jasenovac concentration camp, 1942)<br />

- Son of Tilda - Hilda Atijas, in 1942 had permanent residence in <strong>Dr</strong> Gutića 49 St. 387<br />

In the Report on deprivation of the life or missing person of Moric Levi, book binder<br />

from Banja Luka, was stated (Column A) that Albi Atijas, son of David, 7 years old , child,<br />

residence in Banja Luka , Jewish nationality, during German Occupation was killed in 1942<br />

as civil person in the concentration camp Jasenovac by Ustashe. The amount he would earn as<br />

of 1941–1945, according the Submitter of Request and Municipal Commission is 960.000<br />

dinars. 388<br />

Jozef (Bihać, 1878 –?)<br />

- Son of Samuel, farm labourer, in marriage with Erdonija, maiden Levi got the sons<br />

Natan, Moše and Herman and the daughters Cipura and Ren.<br />

After being injured on Italian battle field at Santa Marija his left leg was amputated up<br />

to the hip and the right leg up to the knee and was pronounced as 100% invalid. In 1921 he<br />

moved in Banja Luka and resided in Kralja Petra drum 43. He supported his family with his<br />

disability benefit and with retail sale of tobacco. 390<br />

On the Assembly of the War Invalids Association, held in Banjaluka on July 6th 1924,<br />

Jozef Atijas, tobacconist from Banjaluka 391 was elected for the cashier of the Association.<br />

Josip Atijas, invalid of the war and Jew from Banjaluka, submitted to the Poglavnik’s<br />

Office the claim for return in Banja Luka. The claim is on August 2nd 1941 from the<br />

Poglavnik’s Office sent to Police Directorate Banjaluka, to which truthfulness clearance of<br />

statement in the claim was ordered. In the memo sent on August 8th 1941 to the Poglavnik’s<br />
