Samuel (Czechoslovakia, 09.05.1906 – June 1941)<br />

- Tailor.<br />

In the Request for receiving of Kingdom of Yugoslavia citizenship, which he<br />

submitted on August 4th 1939, he stated that he was of Jewish origin, that he resided on the<br />

territory of the Vrbas Banovina permanently as of August 16 th 1927, domiciled in Banjaluka,<br />

married and got two sons.<br />

By Decision of Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia Number 14.475 as<br />

of June 13th 1940, the citizenship was not approved. 2727<br />

In the Report on deprivation of the life or missing person, submitted in Banja Luka on<br />

September 13th 1945 by Žena Zeliković, maiden Baruh, tradeswoman from Banjaluka, was<br />

stated (Column A) that Samuel Zeliković, son of Abraham, 36 years old, tailor, residence in<br />

Banja Luka, Jewish nationality, during German occupation as civil person on June 1941 was<br />

arrested by Ustashe and taken from Banjaluka. Estimated amount which he would earn as of<br />

1941–1945 according the Submitter of Request was 1,440.000, and according the Municipal<br />

Commission was 864.000 dinars.<br />

The murdered/missing Samuel Zeliković supported the wife Žena Zeliković and the<br />

son Aco, 11 years old, student from Banjaluka. Estimated amount needed to support the wife<br />

and the son according the Submitter of the Request was 792.000 dinars. 2728<br />

Ženi–Žemik, maiden Baruh (Derventa, 08.09.1905 – ?)<br />

- The wife of Samuel Zeliković, they got son Aleksandar.<br />

In the Report on War Damages, submitted by damaged Žena Zeliković, 40 years old,<br />

tradeswoman from Banjaluka, Jewish nationality on September 17 th 1945 in Banjaluka was<br />

stated that on April 15 th 1941, under German occupation, damage was caused by the German<br />

and Ustashe authorities by destruction and confiscation of the property (inventory and<br />

machines in tailor’s shop, household goods and furniture). Damage of property and the lost<br />

profit according the Submitter of the Request was 114.860, and according Municipal<br />

Commission 70.000. 2729<br />

In 1948 she was registered in the Register of Citizens for Banja Luka Municipality. 2730<br />

Aleksandar (Zagreb, 27.9.1935 – ?)<br />

- The son of Samuel and Žena.<br />
