In the Request sent in 1955 to the City People’s Committee in Banja Luka, she stated<br />

that she lived in Travnik, that she suffered and that Ustashe and Germans, robbed and taken<br />

all what she had, and that she lived of public welfare, together with her brother <strong>Dr</strong> Rafael<br />

Nachmias, his wife and their two children. As she lived in very poor living conditions, she<br />

asked that her house in 10 Ferhatpaša St. should be taken from the Residential Community<br />

and that she would receive the money from the rent of the house. 1742<br />

- The son of David.<br />

On August 28 1921 he submitted the Request to the County Office – area of Banja<br />

Luka for issuance of the passport for Vienna. 1743<br />

After the war he lived as of 1955 in Travnik with his wife, two minor children and the<br />

sister Sarina, married Altarac. 1744<br />

He attended the Velika Realna Gymnasium in Banja Luka as of 1909 to 1915. During<br />

the seventh semester, he was mobilised and he served the military obligation as of December<br />

7th 1915. He graduated in January 1917 in the Realna Gymnasium in Banja Luka. 1745<br />

- The daughter of tinsmith David, Sephardic Jewess.<br />

As of 1903–1906 she attended and finished I and II grade of the Roman Catholic<br />

Primary School of the Sisters of Charity St Vinko Paulski in Banjaluka. During her education<br />

she resided at her parents in Milića St. and in Albreht St. 381. 1747<br />

As of 1909 to1912 she attended Public Senior School for Girls in Banjaluka and<br />

resided at her parents in 36 Albrecht St. 1748<br />

Milica-Matilda (07.07.1904 – ?)<br />

- The daughter of David, tradesman from Travnik, and Rifka Nahmijas, the housewife<br />

from Sarajevo.<br />

She married to Boško Krstanović in 1926. 1749<br />

Jozef–Josip (Banjaluka, 18.12.1899 – the concentration camp Jajinci, 03.04.1942)<br />

- The son of David, the doorman, and Rifka maiden Nachmias, Bosnian Jew, tradesman,<br />

married to Bianka Nachmias.<br />

After finished four grades of primary School in Banja Luka, enrolled in Vocational<br />

School in Banja Luka. He apprenticed at second hand dealer David Nahmijas in Banjaluka<br />

Zagorčeva St. 1750<br />

In 1907 registered an agency and commission store and paid tax in amount of 500<br />

krunas. 1751<br />

On July 16th 1919 in 7 Milića St. opened Consumer’s Shop. During 1932 he started to<br />

sale haberdasher’s goods and moved the Shop in 13 Kraljice Marije St.<br />
