Upon the Decision of the Police Directorate, as of April 8th 1942 Avram A. Salom<br />

from Banjaluka, the owner of Watchmaker’s Shop In <strong>Dr</strong> Mile Budaka 7 St. stopped to work.<br />

The Shop was deleted from the Craft’s Register on April 11th 1942. 2332<br />

Up to June 12th 1942 he had permanent residence in 44 Kralja Petra Svačića St. 2333<br />

Aron Salom, the son of Avram, born in 1876 in Banjaluka, Jew, killed by Ustashe in 1944 in<br />

the concentration camp Stara Gradiška. 2334<br />

Sarina, maiden Poljokan (Banjaluka, 1883 – the concentration camp Jasenovac, 1943 2335 )<br />

- The daughter of Dudo Poljokan, the housewife.<br />

Turina, the proxy of NDH Government , the list of persons arrested as of June 22 nd –23 rd<br />

1942. Among arrested women was also Sarina Salom. 2337<br />

In the Report of Bramer Flora, maiden Salom from Zagreb, submitted on June 27 th<br />

1946 to the Registry Office in Banjaluka, was stated that the death of Sarina Salom, maiden<br />

Poljokan, born in 1880 in Banjaluka, from the father Dudo Poljokan and the mother Flora,<br />

maiden Levi, Jew, married to Aron Salom, the housewife, occurred in the Jasenovac<br />

concentration camp, between 1941 and 1945. 2338<br />

The daughter Hana Levi, maiden Salom from Starente in Italy and the sons Avram and<br />

Leon, all of them from Starente in Italy, renounced the parts of their inheritance parts in a<br />

favour of their sisters Flora Bramer and Mire Papo, both of them from Zagreb. 2339<br />

Hana, called Johana (Banjaluka, 28.8.1900 – ?)<br />

- The daughter of Aron, the Goldsmith, Sephardic Jewess.<br />

In academic 1906/07 year she attended the first grade of the Roman Catholic Primary<br />

School of the Sisters of Charity St Vinko Paulski in Banjaluka. During her education she<br />

resided at her parents in Milićeva St. 2340<br />

In academic 1912/13 year she attended I grade of the Senior School for Girls in Banja<br />

Luka and resided at her parents in 2 Milićeva St. 2341<br />

Palomba–Pepika (Banjaluka, 17.6.1903 2342 – the concentration camp Jasenovac, 1943)<br />

- The daughter of Aron, the Goldsmith, Sephardic Jewess.<br />

As of 1918 to 1920 she attended III and IV grade of the Senior School for Girls in<br />

Banjaluka and resided at her parents in 2 Milićeva St 2. 2343<br />

In academic 1934/35 year she was part time teacher for Women’s Handwork in the<br />

Public Realna Gymnasium in Banja Luka. Ten classes in a week she taught students of the<br />

first, the second and the third grade. 2344<br />
