Jakob–<strong>Jakov</strong><br />

On May 30th 1884 he registered a Trade Company Jakob Mevorah located in<br />

Banjaluka, and on July 26th 1890 Branch in Prijedor. On December 27th 1896 the Head<br />

Office of a Company was transferred from Banjaluka to Prijedor. In 1912 was opened and in<br />

1913 accomplished bankruptcy proceedings of the Company and it was deleted from the<br />

Court Registry in 1914.<br />

On February 20th 1920 he registered Stock Company Jakob Mevorah and Son.<br />

Members of the Stock Company were except him, his sons: Izrael, Šandor, Salomon and<br />

Jozef. 1550<br />

On August 28th 1928 he submitted to the Grand Župan in Banjaluka application for<br />

issuance of passport for travelling to Italy, Austria and Czechoslovakia. 1551<br />

He stated: "tradesman from Prijedor, Jewish religious affiliation, tall, oval face,<br />

greyish hair, brown eyes, regular nose and mouth features, wears trimmed greyish<br />

moustaches". 1552<br />

Rosa–Micika, maiden name Vajler (1874 – ?)<br />

- Housewife from Prijedor, domiciled in Prijedor, applied in 1921 for issuance of<br />

passport for Vienna, where she travels with her daughter Jozefina, 12 years old.<br />

Application was approved. 1553<br />

Micika Mevorah, wife of <strong>Jakov</strong> Mevorah, Jewish from Prijedor, owner of a house in<br />

Prijedor of 490.000 dinars. By a Decision of the City People’s Committee in Prijedor, house<br />

was temporary administered by the State. Local Office for Prijedor of ZE-MA (people’s store)<br />

was placed in the house. ZE-MA invested 45.000 dinars for repairing of the house.<br />

In a Probate Proceedings, initiated by inheritor of Roza Mevorah, maiden name Vajler,<br />

Jakica Mevorah, son of the late Jozef, Ruben Mevorah, son of the late Šandor (both were<br />

officers of Yugoslav Army) and David Finci, son of Albert, the District Court in Prijedor,<br />

Number: O: 569/46, issued a Decision that inherited property is to be handed over to the<br />

inheritors as legal owners. 1554<br />

Micika Vajler, unknown residence, Yugoslav Jewess, had a property – land<br />

administered by the Government. 1555<br />

By the decision of the District Court Prijedor, Number R–680/47 of September 10th<br />

1947, it was found that Roza Mevorah, maiden name Vajler from Prijedor was sent to the<br />

concentration camp Stara Gradiška on August 28th 1942. 1556<br />

Mirjam (Prijedor, 5.1.1911 – ?)<br />

- Daughter of Jakob Mevorah, tradesman from Prijedor, Jewess.<br />

She attended a Junior Gymnasium in Prijedor from 1922–1926. She didn’t complete<br />

the third grade because she didn’t pass the corrective examination in French language.<br />

During her education she lived at her parents in Kralja Petra 10. 1557<br />

Finika–Fadila (Prijedor, 1907 – ?)<br />

- Daughter of <strong>Jakov</strong>, tradesman from Prijedor.<br />
