- Daughter of the Tradesman Izak, the Sephardic Jewess.<br />

In the period from 1918 to 1920 she attended the Senior Roman Catholic School for<br />

Girls - Marija Pomoćnica. 2065<br />

After she had finished "the Big Real" in Banjaluka, she studied the World and<br />

National History at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. She was rejected for the position of<br />

the Secondary School professor because of her left-wing political views. She supported<br />

herself by giving private classes to the pupils. During1942 she was taken to the Jasenovac<br />

concentration camp where she was murdered. 2066<br />

Mazalta–Beba Poljokan, daughter of Izak, born in 1906, in Banjaluka, the Jewess,<br />

murdered by the Ustashe in the Stara Gradiška concentration camp in 1942. 2067<br />

Salomon (Banjaluka, 15.4.1878–30.8.1938)<br />

- Son of Isak Poljokan and Mazalta maiden Baruch. He was married to Erna maiden<br />

Poljokan; they had sons Izak and Rafael and a daughter Mela. He died in Banjaluka on<br />

August 30, 1938. 2068<br />

On December 12, 1921 he submitted the Passport Request to the County Office – area<br />

of Banjaluka for the trip to Austria, Italy and Czechoslovakia. 2069<br />

On November 9, 1926 he submitted the Request for Passport Extension to the Head of<br />
