He was a subject of hearing two times (on October 30, 1940 and March 7, 1941) at the<br />

Police related to the murder of the following: his brother Salomon, his brother’s son Rafael<br />

and his brother’s wife Micika; he stated that he was a Tradesman, married, residing in<br />

Banjaluka in Jukićeva Street No 17 and that his brother Salomon was a good natured person,<br />

he didn’t conflict with anyone and his son Rafael was like his father. On the day of the<br />

murder, he was in Laktaši, supervising the house of Isak Poljokan under construction. 2028<br />

- Daughter of the Tradesman Jakob.<br />

In the period from 1925 to 1929 she attended the Roman Catholic Civilian School for<br />

Girls - Marija Pomoćnica in Banjaluka and resided with her parents in Kralj Petar Road No.<br />

- Daughter of the Tradesman Rafael.<br />

She attended and finished the Roman Catholic Primary School - Sisters of Charity, St.<br />

Vinko Paulski in Banjaluka from 1899 to 1903. During her school period she resided with her<br />

parents in Carski Road No. 53. 2030<br />

In the school year of 1903/04 she attended the first class (I) of the Senior Public<br />

School for Girls in Banjaluka and resided with her parents in Carski Put (Road). 2031<br />

Štefica–Štefa (Banjaluka, 14.2.1894 – ?)<br />

- Daughter of the Tradesman Rafael Poljokan.<br />

She attended and finished the Roman Catholic Primary School – the Sisters of Charity,<br />

St. Vinko Paulski in Banjaluka from 1900 to 1904. During her school period she resided with<br />

her parents in Carski Road. 2032<br />

<strong>Jakov</strong>–Jakob (Banjaluka, 1890 – Zagreb, June 12, 1969)<br />

- Son of Rafaela, the Tradesman from Banjaluka.<br />

He registered a Trade Consumers and Textiles Shop in Salvator Street on September<br />

18, 1911. He left crafts business on April 19, 1916. 2033 He reopened crafts business in 1919<br />

and on July 9, 1927 he was only doing agent and commission business. 2034<br />

In 1942, the Municipal Residential Office in Banjaluka took over the houses of <strong>Jakov</strong><br />

and Rahela Poljokan, who were not in Banjaluka at that time.<br />

He was buried at Mirogoj cemetery in Zagreb on April 25, 1975. On the same day and<br />

at the same graveyard Rahela Poljokan was buried; she died on April 22, 1969 in the age of<br />

- Son of Rafael Poljokan and brother of Salomon Haim Poljokan, murdered on October<br />

17/18, 1940 together with his wife Micika and son Rafael in their family house in<br />
